January’s Character Trait of the Month is: Perseverance

This week we are sharing some ideas on fun age-based activities called: Beyond the Bell: Fun, Age‑Based Activities to Strengthen Kids’ Problem‑Solving at Home. They are PDFs that have been attached to this email. They can also be found on our website.
Please plan on attending the STEM Night on February 19th from 5:30-7:00 pm. This is a Family engagement night and all students and their families are invited to attend. Door prizes will be given every 10 minutes or so. You can come when you want and leave when you are ready. There is a lot to do and fun is had by EVERYONE! We look forward to seeing you for this amazing event!
Our school is signed up to participate in the Neighborhood Forest Project.
Parents, register your child for a free tree through the website link below:

Once the registration deadline has closed, the Neighborhood Forest Project will send all trees to the Elementary School before Earth Day. Once the trees arrive they will be sent home with any student, who was registered by the parent. These trees will be theirs to take home and plant on your personal property. Each student may receive 1 tree. The trees will be sent to the school in mid April for pickup and planting.

2025-2026 Yearbook Order forms are being accepted now! Our 2025-2026 Yearbook will be delivered to students before the end of the school year, so they will have time to have their friends sign them before school gets out. Please make sure to order your child’s copy of the yearbook before the deadline (February 13, 2026) to guarantee they receive a yearbook. We are not planning on purchasing any extras but IF we do they will be $30.00 each and will be on a first come first serve basis. This is a great memory keeper for your child! Please include the order form (attached to this email) with the payment for your child’s yearbook. If you would prefer to order online please visit: https://www.buytheyearbook.com/en/.
